Grants for Use of Space at the Nineteenth Century

The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association’s Community Outreach Committee has refocused assistance to not-for-profit organizations in our area. In lieu of monetary grants, we are offering discounted use of our beautiful landmark building which is centrally located in downtown Oak Park.  This grant opportunity is available to 501(c)(3) organizations who meet our criteria as listed in the grant application.

Besides the opportunity to receive free or reduced rate use of our building (availability is limited and certain restrictions apply), we seek partnerships or collaborations with your organization on a specific projects or events. Our membership may also be available when volunteer help is needed.

We welcome 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations to apply throughout the year. In 2019, our discounted or subsidized space usage to not-for-profits totaled over $157,000. Together we can build bridges, support our individual needs, and promote the community we share.  To apply for a space usage grant, area not-for-profits are encouraged to contact the office at 708-386-2729.  CLICK HERE to see and print the Request Form.
