What is Monday Lunch?

Monday Lunch is a tradition at the Nineteenth Century Club that dates back to our founding in 1891.  It has always been an opportunity for friends and members to gather for a meal and enjoy enriching their minds through a program in music, social science, art, literature, or science.  The Monday Lunch tradition continues today and remains an opportunity for social networking and camaraderie among friends.  Here are some quick facts:

  • Monday Lunch is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
  • Lunch proceeds each Monday Program and doors open at 11:30am
  • Lunch is $20 for Members and $25 for non-members
  • Lunch includes a three-course meal made from scratch in our commercial kitchen by our Executive Chef, John "Woody" Linton.  It is plated and served individually. Most dietary concerns are able to be accommodated. Information is given when you RSVP.
  • RSVP is due the Wednesday before Monday Lunch and can be done online, by email, or over the phone.
