Literature: Radical Ideas! Women and The Vote Written and directed by Mary Bonnett, this show follows the journey of three Illinois suffragists, Grace Wilbur Trout, Ida B. Wells, and Catherine McCullough, who fought for the vote and the ratification of the 19th Amendment in Illinois. These three distinct personalities with very different approaches banded together to form a powerful united front in fighting for equality in a day when little was offered for women. Performers include: Judy Blue, Connie Foster, Richard Shavzin, and Alma Washington. A three-course lunch is served on Mondays at noon. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for check-in and socializing.
