Hispanic Heritage Play
Sunday, October 22, 2023, 3:30 PM CDT
Category: Community's Events- Open to the Public

The Diversity Committee at NCCA has decided for this year to highlight diverse groups by celebrating with movies, food, newsletter articles and in other ways, the various voices in our communities that aren’t always heard.
One opportunity to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month is by attending a play presented by a new theater company, Subtext Studio Theatre.  Their inaugural play presentation for this season, “American Dream”  by Juan Ramirez Jr. is a World Premiere which examines the price of freedom.  The play will be presented at the Madison Street Theater, 1010 Madison Street in Oak Park.  Subtext will hold 30 tickets for the October 22 matinee at 3:30pm for NCCA members.  The price is $22 and you can get tickets the day of the performance paid with check or cash. Checks can be made out to Subtext Studio TC.
To guarantee a place for that performance, please let Linda Bonner ([email protected]) know if you will attend by Sunday, October 15.
