The Women's L Project honors Chicago women who accomplished transformational work in the fields of social work, justice, business, education, the arts, literature, politics, and science by renaming L stops after them. In this program, Women’s L Project founder Janet Volk will introduce you to some of the 141 Women's L Project honorees, including those who turned disadvantages into advantages, others who achieved great success despite formidable hurdles, ‘Queens and Mothers’, activists, and ordinary women quietly doing good.
This program will be presented in our 2nd floor ballroom. It will also be live-streamed via Zoom.
