What happens when a work of art is stolen or a painting or a sculpture is misattributed? Art historian Dr. Giovanni Aloi will look at the art world’s most astonishing cases of fakes, frauds, misattributions and thievery to understand the motives behind these crimes. Heists discussed will include the unsolved heist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and the legendary forgeries of Eric Hebborn, who sold thousands of fake paintings and drawings made in the style of the Old Masters.To register for this webinar, click HERE.
