Since 2006 José Francisco Salgado has been collab- orating with orchestras, composers, and musicians to present science films that provoke curiosity and a sense of wonder about the natural world. The films are choreographed to music works and feature scientific visualizations, space probe images, historical documents, and Salgado’s photography of natural phenomena. In this presentation, Dr. Salgado will talk about the creative process behind Nocturnes, his latest film with music by Claude Debussy. This film explores how the night sky has inspired artists and motivated scientists to explore the Universe. To register for this webinar, click HERE.
