From the hilariously sharp-witted (and sharp-tongued) Katherine going toe to toe with husband-to-be Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew, to the befuddled lovers quartet in A Midsummer Night's Dream, these love spats feature some of the funniest, cleverest and nastiest barbs Shakespeare ever put to parchment. Now all your favorite scenes from Shakespeare's most famous fighting couples are taking center stage in Love Spats, presented at the 19th Century Charitable Association in Oak Park. Bring your sweetie for this special Valentine's weekend treat. The actors will do the fighting, and you can do the making up.
