Chicago author and South Side Bureau reporter for WBEZ, Natalie Moore discusses her recent book, The South Side. Divided into ethnic/cultural groups clustered in defined neighborhoods, Chicago has been dubbed one of the most segregated big cities in the country. Looking beyond the lens of the city of Chicago, Moore examines how suburban growth and home rule continue to foster segregation.
