Anti-Slavery Movement in Black & White- Jeanne Schultz Angel

Did all abolitionist Illinoisans support the Underground Railroad or even racial equality?  Knowing the differences between those who were “anti-slavery” and “radical abolitionists” is important to understanding how the Underground Railroad was viewed in Illinois and also in determining which of its sites were verifiable.  Angel taps this history and also reviews current issues of slavery and human trafficking around the world today. Have things changed?
