Since we miss seeing everyone for the regular Monday program luncheons, there will be two potluck lunches this summer.  Plan for Wednesday, July 6th and Monday August 15th.  We will gather in the first floor dining area at 11:30 to start the food setup and plan to feast starting around noon.  After lunch we will socialize or play games – we have a collection of table games available or bring your favorite.  We will have lemonade and iced tea but feel free to bring your beverage of choice.

The String-a-long Group will be onsite at both potlucks to tempt you with their array of beautiful Lanyards. These custom-made beauties attach to your Nineteenth Century name badge and sell for $35/each (all proceeds support the Nineteenth Century).

If you are new to a 19th potluck, you need to know it is a real potluck.  Members bring a dish to share and we never know what we will find.  Appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, sides, snacks and of course desserts have appeared in prior years.  Feel free to prepare your own dish or find something at a local grocery store or restaurant.  We ask that you indicate on your dish whether it contains anything that might be on someone’s dietary restriction list such as pork, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, etc.  They are OK to bring – just let others know so they can choose. We will have 3x5 cards you can use to name your dish and its contents.

Note that you don’t have to plan for a crowd.  A pie is fine even though everyone won’t get a taste.  A typical serving for 6-8 people allows many to sample a dish.  No one has ever complained about not having enough to eat!

Please use this attached form to sign up and let us know what dish you will be bringing:
