Paris was Cole Porter’s favorite city. He was married there, lived there for most of the 1920s, and a number of his musicals were set in the City of Lights. In this 45-minute multimedia presentation, "A Cole Porter Musical Comedy Tour of Paris,” we’ll hear many Porter songs that were inspired by Paris as we learn about the life he lived there.

Charles Troy is a musical theatre historian. He has created more than 50 multimedia presentations on musical theatre subjects, seamless visual programs with original graphics, recorded music and historic video, all tied together by a scripted narrative structured as a dramatic story. He presents in the Chicago area and around the country. For the last six years, has been featured at the annual Cole Porter Festival held in Porter’s hometown of Peru, Indiana.
