Local author Jane Morocco presents her book Trailside Museum: The Legend of Virginia Moe 

The most enduring memory of the Trailside Museum is of beloved former curator Virginia Moe known as “Miss Moe” who spent 52 years at Trailside teaching compassion for living creatures and how to make the world a safer and better place for animals and humans to coexist. Jane Morocco’s telling of Moe’s story is a journey through time from the beginning of Trailside, Thatcher Woods and the area around River Forest.
