A Tale of Two Violins – Sara Su Jones and Dennis Moore

How much of a violin's sound depends on who’s playing it or, the physical characteristics of the particular instrument and bow? Violinist Sara Su Jones will present a lecture-demonstration featuring a mid-1700s German violin and a 2017 Icelandic violin.  The program concludes with a mini-recital where Sara Su will collaborate with her partner, WFMT/ 98.7 FM host and pianist Dennis Moore to present rarely heard works. 

Program 1:15   $10 donation helps cover program costs.
