Music: The Creation of “Chicago!” Chicago native Bob Fosse shaped the 1975 musical “Chicago!” Subtitled “A Musical Vaudeville,” the show’s musical numbers included a pastiche of vaudeville performers or acts. Charles Troy will share the originals and the songs they inspired, as well as stories about Chicago in the 1920s and Maurine Watkins, the enigmatic author of the play on which the musical is based. A three-course lunch is served on Mondays at noon. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for check-in and socializing. Reservations required, CLICK HERE or call the office at 708-386-2729.
