Domestic Violence Awareness
The Cook County State's Attorney Office will give a presentat ion on the Cycle of Domestic Violence, the difficulties of leaving abusive relationships, and resources on how to break the cycle of Domestic violence . Presenter: Aileen Bhandari
Ai leen Bhandari is a lifelong resident of Chicago. She has prosecute d cases for the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago for over 17 ye ars. As an Assistant State's Attorney in the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau F elony Trial Division, she has prosecuted a litany of felony cases including Murder, Attempt Murder, Sexual Assaults, Domestic Violence and Financial C rimes. Currently, Ms. Bhandari is the President for the South Asian Bar Ass ociation and Co-President of the National Asian Pacific Islanders Prosecuto r's Association Chicago Region. ASA Bhandari is currently assigned to the C ommunity Justice Center West for the State's Attorney's Office and the focu s is working with community partners on crime prevention and violence reduc tion.
