Interviews with Notable Neighbo rs
Many of us living in Oak Park, River Forest, and the surrounding communities have resided in the area for years. As you undoubtedly know, we are surrounded by talented neighbors who do interestin g, meaningful things. Perhaps we talk to them at a block party or a neighbo rhood potluck (in the pre-COVID-19 days), or at T-ball games. Slowly over s everal encounters we discover their vocations and avocations. At some point we say, “Wait a minute, this person is doing really unique things. Others ought to know about this”.
The purpose of our new NCCA in terview series is to introduce these notable neighbors to a wider audience. You are encouraged to nominate local folks whom you think fit the definiti on of people who do things that would be of interest to our members as well as a general audience. The program is an interview format lasting about 45 minutes with a period for audience questions afterward.
