The League of Women Voters of Oak Park/River Forest is presenting a discussion on The United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) that went into effect in 1981. It is also known as the international women's bill of rights. CEDAW helps countries reduce violence, poverty and inequality. Where do things stand today?
