Domestic Violence Awareness

The Cook County State's Attorney Office will give a presentation on the Cycle of Domestic Violence, the difficulties of leaving abusive relationships, and resources on how to break the cycle of Domestic violence. Presenter: Aileen Bhandari

Aileen Bhandari is a lifelong resident of Chicago. She has prosecuted cases for the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago for over 17 years. As an Assistant State's Attorney in the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau Felony Trial Division, she has prosecuted a litany of felony cases including Murder, Attempt Murder, Sexual Assaults, Domestic Violence and Financial Crimes. Currently, Ms. Bhandari is the President for the South Asian Bar Association and Co-President of the National Asian Pacific Islanders Prosecutor's Association Chicago Region. ASA Bhandari is currently assigned to the Community Justice Center West for the State's Attorney's Office and the focus is working with community partners on crime prevention and violence reduction.
